About
Scope of the Symposium
The 14th international symposium on photonics and electronics convergence (ISPEC 2024) will be held at Institute of Science Tokyo from November 26 to November 27 in 2024. The purpose of this symposium is to provide a forum for discussing recent advances in photonics for future LSI systems and related technologies. The scope of this symposium includes designs, fabrication technologies, and characterizations of photonics-electronics convergence systems and devices. In addition, efficient networking and computing technologies are discussed for utilizing the high-capacity data transmission systems and devices. Subjects on Si-photonics, nano-photonics and photonic-electronics integration circuits are also covered.
Project
It also serves as a progress report meeting for the NEDO project "Development of high-efficiency, high-speed processing distributed computing system technology using heterogeneous material integrated optoelectronics", which started at PETRA in 2021.
