About
Scope of the Symposium
The 13th international symposium on photonics and electronics convergence (ISPEC 2023) will be held at Tokyo Institute of Technology from November 1 to November 2 in 2023. The purpose of this symposium is to provide a forum for discussing recent advances in photonics for future LSI systems and related technologies. The scope of this symposium includes designs, fabrication technologies, and characterizations of photonics-electronics convergence systems and devices. In addition, efficient networking and computing technologies are discussed for utilizing the high-capacity data transmission systems and devices. Subjects on Si-photonics, nano-photonics and photonic-electronics integration circuits are also covered.
NEDO Project
It also serves as a progress report meeting for the NEDO project "Development of high-efficiency, high-speed processing distributed computing system technology using heterogeneous material integrated optoelectronics", which started at PETRA in 2021.
